Manhattan Beach, CA Dan
Plumbing Services in Manhattan Beach, CA
A lot of Manhattan Beach homes have been rebuilt tall and narrow, with bathrooms on three levels and a tankless heater tucked into a closet or garage wall. Those setups are great until something upstairs starts leaking downstairs, and finding it takes patience and the right gear. Over in Liberty Village the post-war houses are a different animal, with older supply lines and drains that have earned their retirement. Whichever one you're in, we'll diagnose it before we start cutting. We're licensed and insured, you get the flat rate before we start, and we never tack on overtime.

Services Available in Manhattan Beach
One crew for the whole list, from The Strand, Downtown Manhattan Beach, and Liberty Village out to Hermosa Beach and El Segundo.
Emergency Plumber
24/7 Emergency Plumbing — We Answer Every Call
It's 11pm, water's coming up through the shower drain, and every plumber's line goes to voicemail. That's exactly the call we pick up. Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Torrance runs emergency plumber service in Manhattan Beach around the clock, and a real person answers when you call (310) 889-0506. We show up for burst pipes, sewage backups, and flooding across Manhattan Beach and the rest of the South Bay, with the same flat rate whether it's a Tuesday afternoon or a holiday weekend. No overtime charges, and you'll hear the price before we lift a wrench.

- No overtime charges — same price nights, weekends, and holidays
- Fast response to burst pipes, sewage backups, and flooding
- Overflowing toilets and drain emergencies handled immediately
Drain Cleaning
Professional Drain Cleaning — Cleared Fast, Stays Clear
Why does the same drain keep backing up? Usually because the last cleaning only cleared the center of the pipe and left the grease, hair, or scale caked on the walls. Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Torrance handles drain cleaning for Manhattan Beach and nearby Hermosa Beach and El Segundo with methods that scour the pipe clean and a camera check to prove it. From kitchen lines to the main sewer, we get flow back and tell you how to keep it. No guesswork, no surprise charges.
- Kitchen drain cleaning — grease, food buildup, soap scum
- Bathroom and shower drain clearing
- Floor drain and laundry drain cleaning
- Main sewer line cleaning and clearing
Hydro Jetting
High-Pressure Hydro Jetting — The Deepest Clean for Your Pipes
Think of hydro jetting as a pressure wash for the inside of your pipes. Instead of chipping at a blockage, it cuts through grease, root intrusion, and mineral buildup and flushes it all out downstream. Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Torrance offers hydro jetting in Manhattan Beach, from the kitchens of local restaurants to older residential sewer lines around The Strand, Downtown Manhattan Beach, and Liberty Village. We always camera the pipe first so we know it can take the pressure.
- Removes grease buildup, root intrusion, and mineral scale
- Safe for most residential and commercial pipe types
- Ideal for recurring clogs that keep coming back
- Commercial kitchen drain cleaning
Water Heater Repair & Installation
Water Heater Repair & Replacement — Tank & Tankless
A water heater tends to go one of two ways: a slow decline you can plan around, or a sudden failure you can't. Either way, we can help. We repair and replace tank and tankless heaters throughout Manhattan Beach and the South Bay, and we'll give you a straight read on whether yours is worth fixing or ready to retire. No pressure to replace something that has good years left. Just an honest look and an upfront price.
- Tank water heater repair and full replacement
- Tankless water heater installation and service
- Same-day water heater replacement available
- Diagnosis of no-hot-water, leaks, and strange noises
Sewer Line Repair
Sewer Line Repair & Replacement — Diagnosed with Camera Technology
What does a bad sewer line actually look like? Often it's several drains backing up at once, a patch of lawn that's always soggy, or a smell that won't quit near The Strand, Downtown Manhattan Beach, and Liberty Village. Those point to a problem in the main line, and guessing at it is a costly mistake. Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Torrance diagnoses sewer lines across Manhattan Beach and nearby Hermosa Beach and El Segundo with a camera first, then repairs or replaces only what needs it, permits and all.
- Video camera inspection to locate the exact problem
- Tree root intrusion clearing and prevention
- Cracked, collapsed, and offset pipe repair
- Trenchless sewer repair options available
Pipe Repair & Leak Detection
Pipe Repair & Leak Detection — Find It Fast, Fix It Right
Older homes around The Strand, Downtown Manhattan Beach, and Liberty Village tend to hide their leaks well, behind walls, under slabs, out in the yard line. That's exactly what we're set up to find. Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Torrance handles leak detection and pipe repair across Manhattan Beach and nearby Hermosa Beach and El Segundo, pinpointing the trouble spot before we open anything up. Less demolition, a cleaner repair, and no guessing where the water's coming from.

- Slab leak detection and repair
- Pinhole leak and hidden leak location
- Water pressure testing and analysis
Rooter Service
Professional Rooter Service — Clears Roots & Tough Clogs
Roots don't care that a sewer pipe is buried; they just follow the water. Over the years they work into tiny cracks and joints until the line chokes off. That's the problem our rooter service solves throughout Manhattan Beach and the South Bay. Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Torrance cuts the roots out with the right cable and head for your line, then cameras it to confirm the pipe is genuinely clear rather than just flowing for now.
- Root cutting and removal from sewer and drain lines
- Electric snake service for tough clogs
- Kitchen, bathroom, and main line rooter service
- Root intrusion diagnosis with camera inspection
Sewer Camera Inspection
Sewer Camera Inspection — See Exactly What's in Your Pipes
Buying a house in Manhattan Beach? A sewer camera inspection is one of the smartest few-hundred dollars you can spend, since a bad line can cost many times that to replace. Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Torrance inspects sewer lines across Manhattan Beach and nearby Hermosa Beach and El Segundo, recording everything so you have proof of the pipe's condition. It's also how we confirm a repair was done right, no taking anyone's word for it.

How much is a decade of leak repairs and rising water bills worth? For a lot of older homes, a single repipe costs less over time. Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Torrance handles whole-home repiping across Manhattan Beach and nearby Hermosa Beach and El Segundo, swapping out failing galvanized or leak-prone copper for a fresh, permitted system. Leak Detection
Leak Detection — Find Hidden Leaks Before They Cause Major Damage
Where's that water coming from? That's the question leak detection answers before anyone starts cutting drywall. We locate hidden leaks in Manhattan Beach homes by listening and pressure-testing our way to the exact spot, whether it's a pinhole behind tile or a line under the foundation. - Hidden wall and ceiling leak location
- Underground water line leak finding
